Cold weather is on the way and there are a few things you need to do for your hot tub before the nights go from chilly to freezing.
We at Spa Warehouse have worked on hot tubs and spas for years and years, and it never fails that as soon as the coldest days of the year first hit, the phone starts ringing like crazy. Sometimes the calls are about new and used hot tub sales, but more of the calls are about leaking water lines and pumps and heaters that stopped working. These calls are usually right after the customer flips back the the spa lid to soak in 101-degree water and is surprised by the 51-degree water on his or her toe. Yikes!
So, with that image in mind, now is time to open the side panel and run the pump while looking for leaks. Also check all the panels and the ground/decking around the hot tub for any moisture. If there are leaks, contact us right away for a service call. If no leaks are detected, drain and refill the tub. If you need chemicals to balance the water, stop by the showroom and we will make sure you leave with what you need. If you need directions, click here.
Our professional service technicians service hot tubs and spas throughout the Tri-State area (Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia), including Hagerstown, Greencastle, Chambersburg, Waynesboro, Martinsburg and parts of Frederick County, MD.
